Choose a topic that relates to some specific aspect of nature. It could be a specific natural phenomenon, like the aurora borealis, rainbows, hurricanes, volcanos, tsunami, etc. — or you might choose a specific animal, plant, or insect species that interests you. You could write about a specific geological area, such as Yellowstone, the Antarctic, the Sahara, the Amazon, the Nile, the Grand Canyon, etc. You could choose to examine a more cosmic phenomenon, such as the moon, the sun, a planet like Mars or Jupiter, asteroids, supernovae, black holes, etc. Thread together interesting facts about your subject, myths, history, development, personal reflections, etc. Be sure to include both paraphrases and short quotations in your essay.
