1.Written structure & organisation/ Use of authors guide (5%)
Effective presentation and structure (including content, etc.) and quality, appropriateness and accuracy of citations, and reference list.
2.Academic construction and accuracy (5%)
Addressing the question.
Use of appropriate research material.
3.Use of illustrative material (5%)
Appropriate use, sourcing and reference to figures, maps, diagrams, tables, images, etc.
Number of Tables, Figures, etc. provided
4.Explanation and analysis (5%)
Evidence of understanding appropriate to the assessment level.

3.Main Body (40%)
As a minimum:
Review and present recent work/advances on your selected option
Extensively analyse data from literature to show how new technologies impacts on drilling and well completion
Extensively review and analyse advances and best practices
Present lessons learned
This explores the significance of the results of the work, but does not repeat them.
Avoids extensive citations and discussion of published literature.
5.Summary and concluding remarks (5%)
The main conclusions of the study are presented in a short conclusions section, which may standalone or form a subsection of the main section

Every reference cited in the text is also present in the reference list (and vice versa)
The reference lists in alphabetical order and properly formatted
